<p class="font_8">David was an army officer working in the US Embassy in Amman, where he was a liaison to an office that sends humanitarian aid into Syria. He has since left the army and is undertaking a Master's Degree in the fields of International Relations and Law at Tufts University. His academic interests include post-conflict stabilization and international conflict resolution.</p>
