<p class="font_7" style=""><span style="">Summer is a Fulbright Scholar at the Center for Strategic Studies in Amman, having received her Ph.D. in political science at Purdue University. Her research examines the extent to which militarism affects government action on women's rights policies in both Jordan and Morocco, as well as the relationship between women's activism in Jordan and the so-called global women's rights movement.</span></p>
